I couldn't help but notice that quite a few people have become interested in one of my cases. No, not the one with the man who raped 800 victims, I am referring to the Raincoat Killer murders in Greenvale. The case seems to be go by many different titles, the most popular of which being “Deadly Premonition”. If you ask me, that's a bit generic; wouldn't you agree Zach? That not withstanding, we thought it might be a good idea to set up a place where everyone can get together and share information on it, or possibly even your own sketches of the events! Lots of good can come from everyone working toward the pursuit of justice after all.

Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut: OUT NOW

So Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut for the PS3 came out this week (yesterday to be exact) in North America and Europe! Most of you have probably picked it up, but if you're like ME, you pre-ordered from GameStop and apparently a lot of those are coming in late. Quality service! Needless to say, I have yet to experience the magic of this latest edition, but I am curious what those of you are playing it think so far!
    I haven't seen a lot on the release really aside from a few reviews, but YouTuber and awesome Let's Player supergreatfriend did post this quick comparison video on his channel: [link] It looks like the water effects are worse (somehow) and they got rid of some of the visual effects, which is weird, but apparently it moves pretty smooth and fast? I dunno. Also on that channel you can find a full, detailed and VERY informative Let's Play of the 360 version of Deadly Premonition. I HIGHLY recommend you all check it out! Good stuff! Anyway, if there's anything else anybody notices about the new game or just wants to share their experience, please comment and let us know! I might do a series of posts sharing any stories or feedback I receive in the next journal entry, if I get enough interesting ones!

How to join:
:bulletred:So what do you think, Zach? Should we let anyone who wants in, join the group? Hmm, you're right, we should be fair, and include everyone! Of course, they will have to prove they're not suspects. Simply having some submissions in their gallery should be enough to let them off though, right, Zach?

Submissions:
:bulletgreen:We're all about variety, aren't we, Zach? Variety is the spice of life! This group we've set up however, is meant for things relating to our case. Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow. Anything not pertaining to the "Deadly Premonition" case should not be submitted to the gallery, which isn't a comment on the piece of course. Just keep in mind the reason we're all here.

:bulletgreen:People can post as much as they like right, Zach? Of course, it's always wise to show restraint in these matters, you don't want to flood people's inbox. After all, even I can get sick of a movie if I see it too many times.

:bulletgreen:I tend to be more of "pictures guy", Zach, but a well written story is always welcome too of course. It's good to have a diverse taste in art.

:bulletgreen:Some of the things we see could be considered "mature", right, Zach? Hmm, we should be careful to label anything explicit as such, to avoid any uncomfortable situations.

:bulletgreen:Speaking of uncomfortable situations, I'd hate to see any submissions put in the wrong folder, or under the wrong label. Thomas won't be able to come through and organize the site for us sadly.

:bulletgreen:The Featured folder is going to be reserved for art that me and Zach choose. Anything that we really like, or stands out to us will be put there. Oh, but don't feel bad, all submissions will get their fair share of course!

Rules:
:bulletred:We can't abide crimes of any sort really, can we, Zach? A crime is a crime. There is no "big" and "small". Crimes always have a "criminal" and a "victim". No victim will ever welcome a crime, so there is no difference in size. Art theft, bullying, being rude, all of these things will be seen in the same light, and dealt with in the same manner. We are all here to have a good time Zach. One wayward individual shouldn't ruin it for the rest of us. Of course, I leave banning in your hands, Zach, should it ever become necessary. I know you will try to be fair about it!

On that note, please everyone, do try to have fun here! Zach and I fully endorse fair critiques, and even encourage it! If you have any questions, feel free to send them our way and we will try to answer them in a timely manner! More rules and guidelines may pop up as we note any problems, but remember that common sense is your friend! Thank you for your interest in us! Zach couldn't be more grateful if he tried!
